It is not necessary to use the highest power level to achieve maximum esults. The power level vary on different person, start with lowest setting and raise the power level gradually to obtain optimal result. How often: 15-20 minutes for each treatment and 3-4 treatment a week,reduce to 1-2 treatment a week once the result had been shown. The lights on my mask aren't red - they appear orange/yellow. Why? Is my mask defective? It is highly unlikely that your mask is defective. There are a couple reasons why it appears to be a different color from the red you might be expecting: The first being the prescribed 630-650nm wavelength, which actually falls under an orange-red classification to be more accurate. A quick Google search on 630nm- 650nm will confirm this! Furthermore, human eyes are wonderful in that they adapt readily to a variety of conditions, including bright light that are emitted by this mask. This does mean, however, that something that initially appears 'red' will appear to have changed color over time. This is unlikely to be the case.

This review is based on the replacement item. The 1st one got didn't work. The remote control wouldn't turn on at all. However, when I plugged the mask USB into a USB outlet it turned on but without the remote it wouldn't adjust and was stuck on green. I was able to return the mask the next day and they sent the replacement immediately.The new mask is great! I noticed results right away. After I use the red led setting I'll put serums on my face and they soak in so much better than before. Also, the feel of my skin is so different afterwards.I like to use a peel after I wash my face. Then I do the red light, then blue light. After I put product on my face. I like to do that at night.I took a star because it's uncomfortable to have the mask on my face. It hurts around my eyes and nose. Also, it doesn't get the light to my under eye area very much. The mask should come with eye goggles or something. The brightness is too much to take on certain colors with my eyes closed. It makes me wonder if it's eye safe.Overall, for the price, I recommend this mask. It's a game changer and makes you face products more effectiveSo first off I love the packaging and the look of this mask. It's pretty lightweight out the box and I like the different light options. The lights are cool to touch so no worries in case you touch them while they're on. However the mask doesn't fit directly over my face and when I put it on I have to hold it down a bit due to the pressure the top of the mask makes. I wasn't able to use my sun goggles to protect my eyes but overall I'm pleased with it.Btw I frightened my cat. She recognized my voice and scent but was crying a bit when I wore the mask. She didn't recognize her mommy. I slipped it off and all was right with the world again.Back to the mask sorry.So far I was able to see the difference the mask made on my skin. I used it along with my weekly mask regime but I want to use the mask at least 3x a week for better results.When I saw this LED mask, I knew that I had to get it. I have a friend who uses a LED mask and you can definitely see a noticeable effect after a while. The things that I liked about this product in particular were the clear instructions and that it comes with everything you need. If you are a first time LED mask user like me, you can’t help but be a little bit nervous but if you follow the directions carefully there’s no reason to be worried. Even on the box it lists all the benefits of the photon therapy and the LED mask comes with a remote to easily control the lights and the power cord and even a strap to keep the LED mask on securely. If you are worried whether or not this is for you, you can definitely do the research or even ask your doctor! There are a couple of contraindications that are listed in the manual and I am sure if you contact the seller, they can tell you if this is for you or not. Thanks!I bought this LED mask to address some stubborn mild adult acne that has bothered me for years. I plan to use the blue LED for acne as well as the red for anti-aging. So far, my initial impressions of the device are positive. I set the timer for 15 minutes and was able to comfortably wear the mask while I watched television. It got a tiny bit warm after 15 minutes but it wasn’t really noticeable (and that was using the full power setting). I plan to use this mask several times a week and will update my review after I have had enough time to determine if the LED therapy has had a positive effect but I am very hopeful so far!For the money, this mask is a steal! Great facial treatment and I think it does make my skin look better.I feel like the placement of the strap would be an easy thing to get right, but man! that strap!?It's up too high on the mask so it juts out. VERY uncomfortable and ill fitting. I usually just hold it on, which isn't great. This would have received 5 stars otherwise.I guess you get what you pay for.I like that it simple to use and I can relax while wearing it or I might catch up on part of a show.If you think that the part that is around your eyes or nose feels weird, adjust how you are sitting up or reclining.The only thing that I don't like is that when changing the colors, they go in an order that is different than how the colors are listed on the information sheet in the box.I'm an LED aficionado. I purchased another one (on Amazon) that worked great until the connector cord stopped working. I replaced it with another cord, and the tiny spoke inide the sensor broke....so I had to get another one.This unit was ten dollars less, and so far is great. Hopefully it will last longer than the other!I also like that it's a family company based in HONG KONG (GO HK!!!! LED is GREAT for the skin!I contacted the seller to match the price which was not honored but I was okay with that. They are a small company and the product definitely works. If you have acne scars, this will help you tremendously. The trick is to apply vitamin C serum, the light helps any product penetrate into your skin hence optimized results. Great product
