Love how it makes my face feel. Great for my sensitive skin.I've long been impressed with the healing properties of turmeric, a spice commonly found in curry that has been found to have quite a few medicinal properties. Curcumin is the main ingredient in turmeric and it has anti-inflammatory properties and is loaded with antioxidants. It seems like it's a no-brainer for use within facial products and it's exciting to see Dermaxgen figure out how to do it and end up doing it well.The product arrived nicely packed with a sealed layer that I peeled away. It has a sort of yellowish color to it and arrives in a 4.2 ounce container. Ingredients include turmeric, bentonite clay, vitamin c and e, licorice extract, aloe extract, and sweet almond oil. It has a smooth texture and it's recommend that you use a sponge or brush to apply it most easily.It's recommended to use it 2-3x weekly. It is supposed to treat and prevent acne and help with healing of scars. The turmeric helps to deal with the toxins and dead skin cells, while the bentonite clay helps to prevent pore clogging.The mask doesn't have quite the intensity of sensation that some masks, though I could definitely feel it working as it soaked into my skin. I keep the mask on 10-15 minutes and then gently wash it off. If you've ever had turmeric as an oil or tea, the scent is rather light and the same is true here. There's a scent to it, but it's light and actually rather pleasing. As a male user, I would not hesitate to use this mask and to be around others with the scent of it.I am seeing positive results with my skin. While acne is not a major issue for me, I've always had skin issues and this is evening out my tone and lightening dark circles. It's also lightening a couple of facial scars that I have.I'm a definite fan of this turmeric face mask. It is a good value, applies easily, is proving to be effective, and is also simply making me look and feel better. I can easily see this becoming a regular part of my skin care regimen.This is a really nice mask! The jar is pretty tiny, but a little goes a long way. It comes in an outer product box, which I always appreciate.The mask itself doesn’t look very appealing when you first take the top off the jar - a mustard yellow color - but there’s no smell. It glides onto the skin easily. It washes off easily. It doesn’t dry out my skin or make my skin feel stripped. My skin feels nice and soft afterwards, plus it helped reduce redness in my face which I was really happy about! I’m hoping this will reduce some of my sun spots and post acne marks I have. But, for now, I’m just happy at the reduced redness in my face!This mask is easy to use and I love the natural ingredients. I admit, I was a little dismayed to see how small the jar is and when the directions said to use it 2-3 times a week, I thought it wouldn’t last very long at all. However, a little goes a long way. I’ve used it and I’ve applied it to my 13 year old son’s face because he’s had some redness and acne, and it took away a lot of the redness. It also made our skin super soft. He liked that it didn’t burn his skin at all, like some masks I’ve tried on him. It dries quickly and takes a bit of scrubbing with a wet cloth to remove it, but it’s no more difficult than any other mask we’ve used. Overall, we like it. It did reduce redness and moisturize our skin like it said it would.Looks like mustard but smells and works greatFor my dry and sensitive skin it was a little rough and I did feel burning the first time trying it as I was dealing with a bad break out but once the break out cleared up the second application wasn’t as painful nor burning. I didn’t see an improvement but I also only use this once a week to keep my skin for having a negative reaction.Ive only used it once so far but the way my skin feels is amazing. I can wait to see what my face will look like weeks in.
