Low quality pen. Motor is not strong, even at highest setting. Adjustment of needle depth is not accurate. I have Dr. Pen M8 and A7 to compare, and doesn't even come close! I purchased this pen because I like the style of the cartridges with the scalloped edges and airflow vents, features normally only found on higher quality pens. This makes it easier to use with gliding products. However, the specs appear to be overstated; unfortunately, will be returning.Seems to work ok, I think after using tgis and a manual, comparatively I prefer a manual rolling microneedler, it works better for me than this does. But this still works, just gives slightly different results. This is also more painful, and I really don't like that. This microneedling pen is perfect for at-home use and works just as good as more expensive options at a fraction of the cost. At least it does so far... we'll see how it holds up after multiple uses. The only thing is it comes with just 2 cartridges, so you'll get only a few treatments in before having to buy more. Luckily they're fairly inexpensive though.Microneedling is great for uneven skin tone, acne scars, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks and more. I know it takes time and multiple treatments (paired with a good quality serum) to see dramatic results. But it's worth it.All in all, it's easy to use in the comfort of your own home and can also be adjusted to your pain tolerance. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. This Derma Pen Dermapen Kit is a well built pen with great, screw on, cartridges. So you get the pen, 2 sealed needle cartridges, the USB charging cable and an owner manual in a very nice box that is sturdy enough to use for storage when not in use.A derma pen is like needle rolling, except it is automatic and not manual. The cartridge consists of multiple, ultra fine, needles. The pen forces the needle head up and down, pushing the fine needles into your skin over and over. This creates tiny wounds in the skin, which the body rushes to repair. That repair process causes the skin to thicken and firm, which reduces or eliminates lines and wrinkles and leaves younger looking skin.I have done needle rolling for years now with excellent results and I still like it for larger areas but a derma pen is perfect for targeting specific lines and wrinkles. I think it does a better job on small, targeted areas. This pen has 5 speeds and infinite depth settings up to 2mm. (For deeper lines or wrinkles, you definitely need the 2mm setting.) The pen is rechargeable and has a sturdy, metal, casing. I LOVE that the cartridges screw in rather than clicking in, like some other dermapens. The cartridges included have a round array of 12 needles the needle area is small enough to easily treat problem areas on your face. I especially love it for treating laugh lines and between my eyebrows. If you have never done this before, watch some videos on YouTube first but it's very easy. Just make sure your face and hands are really clean before you start. My only complaint is that the maker doesn't tell you where to buy refill cartridges. There are some screw on cartridges available on Amazon but I am not sure the size will be correct because dermapens are not standard sizes. I am ordering some and I will update this review to link to them if they fit. Otherwise, it's a great pen but it will be useless without refill cartridges. This is a good derma pen kit. It comes with an adjustable derma pen, two screw-on cartridges, USB charging cable and a small manual in a sturdy storage box with foam cutout to secure the pen and accessories. Note that the box isn't sealed upon arrival. The cartridges are though. The derma pen is sturdy and well built. It features a metal casing and has a good heft to it. It is easy to grip and feels comfortable in the hand. It has 5 speed levels that you can cycle through and power off using the little button just below the speed digital display. The needle depth ring is easy to adjust but doesn't click. It does have a good resistance to it as you turn it, so it is unlikely to turn it inadvertently during use. Charging is done using a proprietary charging cable (provided). It uses a slim co-axial plug that goes into the end of the pen.The cartridges are individually sealed in sterile packaging. They are made of quality plastic and have 12 microneedles in them. They are a screw-on and have a spring loaded actuator. The only issue I have with this derma pen kit is that only 2 cartridges are provided. At the time of review, there are no replacement cartridges are available for sale yet. I looked up the manufacturer and they only have replacement cartridges currently available for a different derma pen model of theirs. I hope this will change soon. All in all, this is a good derma pen kit. It is well built, rechargeable and easy to use. It works pretty well for me, especially around the nose where there is a lot of curvature that regular derma rollers can't reach in fully. The pen holds a charge well. In fact, it still has plenty of juice left in it when it arrived. The price is pretty reasonable as well. I just hope replacement cartridges will be made available soon. This pen is easy to use and easy to charge. I like the dial in selections and how well it works on my face. I do use numbing cream as I am a whimp, lol! I also use this in conjunction with my facial mask. The results speak for themselves.I am infatuated with my Dermapens! Not only are this wireless, but this one comes with five working speeds and two replacement cartridges! The USB makes it a breeze to recharge. And the skin micro-needling it offers is fantastic at persuading collagen uplifting within your face! Plus, it improves the appearance of imperfections that have pestered my skin for longer than I care to remember!
